Jeremy Dewey

Jeremy Dewey is the Director of Development at COCA-Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, Mo. For six years, Dewey led strategic planning and project implementation at the Brooklyn Academy of Music where he spearheaded a new membership program and a new member volunteer program. Prior to BAM, he was Associate Director, Development Operations and Special Projects at the New York City Ballet. Dewey is also a co-founder of the NY-based Trusty Sidekick Theater Company. Dewey’s appointment comes at a key time for the organization, as COCA is in the middle of the $40 million Create Our Future Campaign, a multi-year fundraising effort for the capital renovation and expansion of COCA’s historic building in University City and to fund its endowment and reserves. Dewey holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas and both an MBA and an MA in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University.
