Valerie Vidmar
Co-Host of Cultural Stew Podcast
has escaped into movies since growing up in small-town Kansas. She has degrees in English and Film Theory, and enjoyed a stint in the screenwriting industry and as an assistant director at Second City in Chicago. Soon after moving to Rochester in 2008, she started the Vidmar School of Music, Musicals, Movies and Literature. Although attendance is quite modest (comprising only 2 daughters–ages 7 and 5), she is pleased that her subjects have displayed a knack for endlessly quoting movies and lyrics at all imaginable times. She is a audio/visual junky who is likely to be found streaming an audiobook by day and a show or movie by night
